Making Money through Online Advertising with Google Adsense

I am currently revamping this blog. I was thinking of optimizing its capabilities. I was browsing through the net when I got a glimpse of Online Advertising.

But what is Online Advertising?

quoted from wikipedia...

Online advertising is a form of promotion that uses the Internet and World Wide Web for the expressed purpose of delivering marketing messages to attract customers. Examples of online advertising include contextual ads on search engine results pages, banner ads, Rich Media Ads, Social network advertising, online classified advertising, advertising networks and e-mail marketing, including e-mail spam.
Due to the fast paced improvement in technology, more people are getting innovative when it comes to optimizing the use of the worldwide web. There came promotional stints by putting up a website and having products and offers be seen online. But due to those demands, with web hosting and domain fees, nowadays, maintaining a working website would be hard, including the fact that you need to update and meet the current trends with regards to the site development. The new trend in which I've discovered would be online advertising. I have heard some of it, but then my knowledge was not sufficient to start doing so.

If you try to google up some info about online advertising, the most common that would come up would be Google Adsense. Google Adsense and if I may quote:

The mother of all internet advertising. Google has built the largest advertising network available, and has created a billion dollar industry out of it. It is very easy to use, and I have heard that the percentage of payout is quite high.
With that I decided to put up some Google ads here on my blog (since for now I could not afford the web hosting and domain fees). I am just a novice and just starting this one out. But based on what others may have stated, they have earned quite a generous amount from Google Adsense. It is quite inevitable because when I try browsing some sites, the whole site has been full of ads. And me having an artist heart, has been irritated by these, just those with ads that the content is not visible enough for the reader to notice. I am having a hard time understanding the content of the site because of the ads splattered all over the site and with those pesky hovering ads, the one with the underlines.

I'm still on the phase of discovering Adsense full potential, but then my hubby had aready earned a bit with it (he's more knowledgeable with these web stuff) so why not as well try it.

I'll update you with some more details when I personally got to have credit on my adsense. For now, it's nada.

Excess:
I'm still trying to optimize my blogs's searchability (is there such word as this one?) with some search engines so as to attract readers and visitors on my sites.
